I just got back to the states and wanted to say thank you so much for helping us early on during our trip. Without you, I don’t think we would have had as nice of a trip. I wanted to just share some of the photos I have.
Uganda is famously known as the ‘Pearl of Africa’ thanks to Winston Churchill who is said to have trekked, boated and travelled all over the country 100 years ago. This name has become a signature for the country – it is a well deserved one given the variety of natural wonders in Uganda.
Lake Bunyonyi is in south-western Uganda between Kisoro and Kabale, and it is close to the border with Rwanda. The lake appears on the 5,000 Ugandan shilling note under the title “Lake Bunyonyi and terraces”.
